FAQs
What's covered by a Single License?
A single license is either "per-user" or "per-computer", so:
-
If you have multiple computers and you're the only one who uses them, please feel free to use a single license on all of them.
-
If you have multiple users on a single computer, a single license applies here as well.
If you have multiple computers and multiple users, please purchase an additional license per-computer or per-user, whichever is fewer.
What's the catch behind your "Unlimited Free Trial" on Cinch and SizeUp?
No catch, you can use Cinch and SizeUp for as long as you need to in order to determine if they are the right applications for you. Cinch and SizeUp will occasionally remind you that you're running the trial (demo) version, and that you should purchase a license if you want to continue using the application.
Why won't the iClip window hide even though I have iClip configured to "automatically show and hide"?
So, if you click the iClip menu bar icon to show iClip*, the iClip window will not hide until you click the iClip menu bar icon again*, even with "automatically show/hide" enabled. This is by design.
Once iClip is hidden, auto show/hide will work as expected.
* Alternatively, you can show and hide iClip by pressing the the hotkey (if configured), or by opening the app again (with Spotlight or by double-clicking the app icon).
Why does Cinch have trouble resizing some application windows?
Cinch works with most applications as long as standard window types are being used. Non-standard windows may exhibit unexpected behavior or not respond at all.

- Some application windows do line-based resizing and may not completely fill half or the full screen. In this case, you may see a small gap between the edges of the window and the screen.
Known "trouble" applications:
